William is a native of Lexington, Kentucky, was educated at the School for Creative and Performing Arts and Lafayette High School’s Pre-Engineering Program and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Master of Architecture. Growing up, he enjoyed playing piano and trombone as well as singing in various choirs. In addition, William brings years of experience in customer service, information technology, troubleshooting and financial services. In his free time, he is an avid outdoors-man who enjoys hiking, camping and spelunking throughout the year and frequently enjoys boating with his family and friends at various lakes in Kentucky.

Throughout his tenure at UK, William focused heavily on field and spatial conditions, parametric and robotic design, topographical modeling and the relationships between buildings and their environments.

William brings substantial expertise in 3D modeling at a vast range of scales and levels of detail using Rhinoceros and plugins such as Grasshopper, rendering using VRay, Maxwell Render, Maya, Cinema 4D and After Effects and graphic design softwares such as Adobe Illustrator. Recently, William has taken it upon himself to become proficient in both Autodesk Revit and Dynamo, its scripting environment for computational BIM design.
