The owners of this stately Georgian home in Lexington, KY charged Baron Gibson with the award winning design of the home’s detached garage and greenhouse. This project received the Judge's award from the Home Builders Association of Kentucky for Best Home-Addition. The design of the garage includes a conditioned storage room and attached greenhouse. The garage contains some of the home’s original architectural details including an elaborate dentil soffit at the eaves. Custom brackets were added to celebrate and accentuate the dark green custom chevron patterned doors. The standing seam copper roof was chosen for its’ longevity and aesthetic quality that is gained once the material begins to patina.
