Located in Lexington's beautiful Fairway neighborhood, this 1928 Hugh Meriwether designed cape cod home was in need of extensive updates and restoration work. Gibson Taylor Thompson enclosed the side screen porch with dark green windows to match the dark green accent colors throughout the house. A new garage was constructed to match the previously demolished 1920's garage picking up on the signature steep roof pitches and material pallet. A rear covered porch addition was added that uses round Doric columns, tongue & groove ceilings, brick and limestone pier bases. The porch directly interacts with and activates the beautiful backyard evergreen garden that is subdivided by antique brick walking paths. A new kitchen and master bathroom was also planned and designed  by Gibson Taylor Thompson.
