HISTORIC RENOVATION AND ADDITION

FAYETTE PARK HISTORIC DISTRICT, LEXINGTON, KY

Darren Taylor completely oversaw this project from initial design concept through intense construction administration while serving as Creative Director at Nomi Design.  The vision of the owner in this project was vast, efficient and driven.  With a total timeline of 9 months from start to finish every effort was made to work intelligently and efficiently.

The complementary addition creates a new open living space for the young family to relax in that is centered around kitchen and hearth.

One bold move that was made early on was to eliminate the second floor space above and vault the entry hall to create a dramatic experience upon entry.
